Not the best of the Spot books, in my opinion. Spot goes to the beach with his parents and gets into all sorts of things some of which he isn t supposed to At the end, Spot meets a friend to play with.I find this book cute and that it shows that youngsters get into things and are all over the place a lot of the time The flip tabs in the book make it a littlefun for little children to find Spot and what he is doing and gets themengaged. A wonderful read from my childhood, one I d certainly suggest for other youngsters Whilst it is not my all time favourite childhood read I can still recall all the details of this one meaning it certainly left a lasting impression upon my young mind And isn t that what we want with children s books, for them to leave a positive lasting impression
